About

I’m a therapist with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and couples to improve communication and work through stress and relationship challenges. In my private practice in Studio City, California, I offer individual therapy, couples counseling, and facilitate both a men’s and a women’s group.

The people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and often successful in different areas of their lives, yet still find themselves struggling with relationships, intimacy, anxiety, or self-esteem. They may already have some insight, but are looking for a deeper understanding of themselves, along with practical ways to navigate the challenges they face day to day.

My approach is both exploratory and practical. I draw from psychodynamic and attachment theory perspectives to help uncover the underlying patterns that shape experiences, while also incorporating cognitive behavioral (CBT), interpersonal, and acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapies. This allows for an understanding of why things feel the way they do, and also helps to develop concrete tools and strategies that can be used in everyday life.

I see therapy as a collaborative process and aim to create a space that is thoughtful, grounded, and nonjudgmental where issues can be explored more deeply while also making meaningful, realistic changes.

I hold bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Dramatic Art from the University of California, Berkeley (with honors), and a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College in New York (with honors).

I work with adults (18+) from diverse backgrounds, including both heterosexual and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. I offer both in-person sessions in Studio City and teletherapy for those who prefer the flexibility of remote sessions throughout California.
